Writers Talk 2008 - Nicki Greenberg Talks

Nicki Greenberg

Introduction

Nicki Greenberg is a Melbourne-based comic artist, illustrator, part-time lawyer and an active contributor to the Australian comic art scene.

She has written and illustrated fiction and non-fiction books for children and teenagers. She also regularly provides comics for newspapers, journals, magazines and anthologies.

The Great Gatsby is a graphic novel adaptation by Nicki Greenberg of the novel by F Scott Fitzgerald. The book is in the form of an old photograph album, with the snapshots forming the frames of the story. The reader is invited into the private world of the characters, while sharing the sense of nostalgia and loss that pervades the novel.
