Level A conformance icon, W3C-WAI Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0

This site conforms to the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 Conformance level A.

It is built to work on any modern CSS compatible browser (see technical specifications). However, if your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable. Information on upgrading your browser is available from http://www.download.com.

Enlarging text

Because the site uses cascading style sheets (CSS) you can increase or decrease the text size on your screen.

Enlarging text on a PC

In Internet Explorer, select select the menu item View / Text Size, then choose one of the five text sizes listed (largest, larger, medium, smaller, or smallest). You can reach this menu from the keyboard by pressing ALT V then X, then arrow up or down or choose a size.

 

In Firefox, select either the menu item View / Text Size / Increase to increase the text size, or View / Text Size / Decrease to decrease.
You can change the setting from the keyboard by using CTRL+ to increase text size or CTRL- to decrease text size

Enlarging text on a Mac

In Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari, APPLE+ will increase the text size and APPLE- will decrease.

Enlarging Flash content

On a PC, you can zoom in to flash content by right clicking then choosing Zoom In from the Flash Player menu.

On a mac, use CTRL Click and then choose Zoom in.

Improving your access to this site

Upgrade your browser

Customise your browser

You can control how a web browser displays information. This includes changing the body text font type and size, foreground and background colours, and using keyboard shortcuts.

If you are using Netscape Navigator look up 'Preferences' in the Help index. If you are on another browser look up something similar in the Help index.

Use adaptive technologies
