Each year ICVET hold a number of events to promote emerging practice in the delivery of VET to practitioners across the country. Below are yearly summaries of current and past events.

eLeaning08
eLearning08 is a celebration and showcase of technology enhanced education and training practices in New South Wales (NSW).
Come and join colleagues from across the vocational education and training sector to explore the ways new and emerging technologies can support learners and improve the delivery of training.
2007
TAFE NSW Learning Powerhouse Conference 2007
This conference was for education practitioners focusing on teaching and learning. The Learning Powerhouse Conference brought together over 600 teachers, educational managers, researchers and educational service providers for a day of learning through keynotes, workshops, seminars, showcases and professional conversations.
TAFE NSW Head Teacher Forum and Network - HT3 Head Teachers, for Head Teachers, by Head Teachers
Head Teachers from across TAFE NSW came together at the inaugural statewide Head Teacher Forum entitled ‘The leading edge’ on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the Harbours Edge Events Centre, Darling Harbour.

TAFE NSW Teaching and Learning RPL Colloquium 2007
Conversations were re-ignited on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) during Sydney’s wettest day, June 7th. Despite the weather, 100 delegates attended TAFE’s RPL Colloquium. The theme was ‘more possibilities, better results’ and the day was organised in conjunction with the COAG funded TAFE NSW RPL project.
2006
TAFE NSW Learning Powerhouse Conference 2006
This conference was for educational practitioners about teaching and learning and brought together 500 teachers, educational managers, researchers and educational service providers for keynotes, workshops, seminars, showcases and professional conversations.
TAFE NSW Teaching and Learning Colloquium
On 30 March over 100 TAFE teachers and managers met at the Mercure Hotel Sydney Airport to have strategic conversations about workplace learning and industry partnerships in the context of VET pedagogy – and how to continue these strategic conversations.
2005
TAFE NSW Learning Powerhouse Conference 2005
The Learning Powerhouse successfully brought together over 460 delegates (exceeding initial expectations of approximately 400 registrants). 84% were from TAFE NSW, others coming from the Department of Education and Training, with co-presenters from other NSW departments, sponsors and invited presenters from a small number of interstate units. All TAFE NSW Institutes were well represented and over 40% of delegates were practicing classroom teachers.
